Art platform ''Black Swan'' / Černá labuť

located in the centre of Prague, includes the premises of café, gallery and theatre, which were created for these purposes by Eva Jiřičná, the world-acclaimed architect of Czech origin established in London.

We are inviting you on the board of a ship sailing through the sky of Prague in a style of nonchalant elegance. You start on Na Porici Street no. 25 where the elevator will lift you to the 8th floor with a beautiful vista of Prague. You will find yourself in a gallery that offers exhibitions of modern Czech and Slovak artists and which also serves as a café. Its open-air terrace is most comfortable for your relaxed conversation or musing.

Art-Café Black Swan (Černá Labuť)

Opening hours Mondays to Fridays 12.00 – 20.00
In the day of theatre performance it is open until 18.00

Café-Theatre concentrates particularly on creative performances of chamber ensambles, concerts, talk-theatres and treats of alternative art. There are regular shows of Friday Evenings (at 20.00) dedicated to concerts of „Musical Misdemeanours in Black Swan“ where there are presented the grand personalities of various musical styles.

Both the gallery and the theatre give chances to young promissing artists and students of academies of art. The latter often hold an exhibition together with a concert of international casting. The art platform Černá Labuť offers the public meetings with various artistic streams, joint projects or simply it gives the people a venue for their own gatherings and talks.
